The Great Lucky Lindy Ball Drop is sponsored by the Lindbergh Schools Foundation.
Purchaser, and anyone to whom a purchaser legally transfers a ball number must be 18 years or older at time of purchase/transfer. Purchaser may enter more than once and need not be a resident of the state of Missouri.
Winners need not be present to win.
Only one (1) individual may be identified as a buyer/owner per ball number. After purchase, participants will be assigned
a numbered ticket or email confirmation. All purchased balls will be individually and uniquely numbered and correspond to
Entries may be made on the Lindbergh Schools Foundation website, by phone or in person. The entry portion of each order
form must be completely filled out and paid for prior to the time of the Great Lucky Lindy Ball Drop.
By entering the Great Lucky Lindy Ball Drop event, the purchaser acknowledges that he or she is aware of, and agrees to
abide by the Official Rules of the Lindbergh Schools Foundation. Odds of winning depend on the number of balls sold,
as well as where they land when dropped.
Status of Rules
Contest rules are subject to modification by the Lindbergh Schools Foundation at any time prior to the event. If for any reason beyond the control of the Lindbergh Schools Foundation such as weather conditions, the Lindbergh Schools Foundation determines not to conduct The Great Lucky Lindy Ball Drop on May 17, 2014, the Lindbergh Schools Foundation reserves the
right to re-schedule the ball drop within one week or to determine the winners by raffle selection or by random selection.
Each of the ball numbers will be sold for the price of $5 each. All ball number purchases are final and non-refundable.
All balls entered will be provided by the Foundation and shall remain the property of the Foundation. All purchased balls/numbers are unique and will be randomly placed into a bin for the ball drop.
On May 17, 2014, the purchased, individually numbered balls will be dropped onto a pre-selected target area on the Lindbergh High School campus. The registered ball number owner, whose numbered ball is found closest to the pre-selected target,
will be awarded a cash prize of $500. The ball closest to the target will be selected by measuring the distance from the center
of the target to the ball, as determined by the Official Ball Drop Judges. The next four (4) closest balls to the target will be
chosen as runner-ups, and will each be awarded a cash prize. At least one first place and four runners-up prizes will be awarded. Decisions by the Official Ball Drop Judges on all aspects of the event will be final and binding.
Notification of Winners
Winners of the Great Lucky Lindy Ball Drop will be notified by email/phone by Monday, May 19, 2014 and will be posted on
the Foundation’s website, wwwLindberghFoundationSTL.com by the end of that week. If a dispute arises as to the identity of
a winner who enters via e-mail, the identity will be declared based upon the registered user of the e-mail account.
A list of prize winners can be obtained from the Lindbergh Schools Foundation by sending a written request and a self-addressed stamped envelope to the address shown below.
If any prize winner does not claim his or her prize from the Foundation within 30 days of the Great Lucky Lindy Ball Drop,
the winnings will be donated to the Spirit of Lindbergh Fund.
Waiver/Limitation of Liability
When entering the Great Lucky Lindy Ball Drop by purchasing a ball number, entrants release Lindbergh Schools Foundation and the Lindbergh School district and its members, agents, employees, and other related entities, from any and all liability, claims, injuries, losses or damages relating to or resulting from participation in this contest or prize acceptance. By entering, entrant waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, attorneys’ fees, court costs, litigation expenses, or any damages other than the amount paid by the entrant for their entry into the ball drop. Lindbergh Schools Foundation and its employees, judges and agents involved in this charitable event are not responsible or liable for any inaccuracies in information which may be used in the contest, for any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries, including data entered by entrants, any entry miscommunications such as technical failures related to computer, telephone, cable and any network or server connections, related technical failures, or other failures related to human error, hardware, software or virus, or incomplete, late or misdirected entries. By entering, winners consent to the use of their name, voice, photograph and/or likeness without limitation or compensation, for advertising and/or compensation, for advertising and/or trade purposes, except where prohibited by law. All federal, state, local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of individual winners.
