Picture
MICHAEL KUHN

   Elementary LEAP

The goal of this 3D printing project is simple: students need to learn the design/engineering process through iterations. Gifted students are notoriously wary of failing. Picture
MICHAEL GUEHRING

   Crestwood Elementary School

Great for supporting the development of number sense, rekenreks are visual models that encourage students to subitize, think of numbers in groups, strengthen counting proficiency, develop addition and subtraction strategies, and gain a better understanding of number relationships. The goal of this project is to increase number sense in all students grades K-2 by giving them more time to work and play with visual models of numbers. This will give students a solid math foundation on which can be built other math skills needed for future success.

DECODABLE BOOKS FOR STRUGGLING READERS

Picture
PATTI HABERBERGER

   Crestwood Elementary School

These decodable books will be immediately implemented into the classroom and allow students
to choose a variety of books that reach all reading
